There has been no mention of a release of the annual Xmas ornament set at the Chicago show? Anyone know which lighthouses were selected (in addition to Hereford inlet)?

I have heard no indication that there will be a set of ornaments to be released this year. Maybe they will be introduced at the reunion?

Four different ornaments are mentioned and shown in the new brochure: (At least I THINK they are.)

Ship John Shoal DE
Dunkirk NY
Rockland Breakwater ME
Hereford Inlet MA

HL713 is a set of one each of these ornaments. Price as usual is $15 each.

Yes, John, they are pictured with the 2001 Old Michigan City Christmas lighthouse. The Tybee Cutter/Patrol Boat is on the front and just turn over the brochure, as it comes folded, and there are this year's Christmas Lights.

Hello Folks,

I was wondering how would one go about obtaining one of the new brochures that includes the remaining 2001 releases discussed above in earlier posts. The local dealers around my area are lucky if they even get or received the general 2001 brochure.

Your comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Christopher

Thanks,

That was easy! Hopefully I will receive it in a week or two. Now why can't locating a Currituck, NC HL#158 at a descent price be just as easy? Go figure...I guess that is what makes this hobby so fun.

Thanks Again,

Christopher

John's list is correct and the ornaments were on display at the Navy Pier show. (They were towards the back of one of the shelves.) There were no names on them, but they were readily identifiable.

Hollywood (or at least somebody) strikes again.

They moved Hereford Inlet up the coast a bit.The last time i saw it it was near Wildwood, NJ.

Somebody know something the rest of us don't?

Got me again. Hereford Inlet is, of course, located in New Jersey.

Massachucetts has more than enough already. Then again NJ has it's fair share.

I think if we're going to move them around we should send them where there aren't any.

Just don't send any to Long Island or Door County.
