Just picked up #307 Raspberry Island and #308 Northwest Passage from my dealer. Both are well detailed with NW Passage being more interesting. Even though the paint detail on NW Passage seems a little rougher than normal, the detail on the piece is very good, right down to the flag waving on the motor launch and the winches on the structure. Haven't pulled out the magnifying glass yet to really get down to the real detail, but both look like they are very good additions to the collection.

I just received Raspberry Island and Northwest Passage yesterday and I'm totally impressed with both pieces. I tend to be a little partial to the Florida pieces and would even go far enough to give it a wow. Not a big WOW mind you but a small wow. I have to admit I feel the detail on Raspberry Island is a little better then Northwest Passage but the shape and features on Northwest Passage are a little better then on Raspberry Island. The coloring is also more to my liking.

UPS dropped off those two pieces today. I took a quick peek at both but didn't examine them closely yet. They do look very nice though.

Dick and Rich, thanks for those great desciptions of Raspberry Island and Northwest Passage. Two lights that I may not ever see in person and am not going to purchase from HL. The photo's on the HL website are great, but I love to hear from different collectors about their opinions of them. BobM has received his and now we need to get his input. Many others out there in "Forum Land" must be also receiving them and I hope you get on this thread and review them for us.
