Today at one of the Nancy signing events in Colorado I found and bought an Artist Proof of Half Moon Reef.
How do the Forum folks feel about an AP as apposed to a LE?

You found and bought an artist's proof of a future release? How did that ever happen? You are a pretty lucky guy in my book! Bob

Mel, I think most of us would like AP's over LE's!!! I have a "few" AP's myself and feel very lucky to have them!!! Great find on your part!

Guess it's only right that Mel should have some reward for digging through all that snow to get to the event!
AP's are good. I understand that they are easily worth at least twice as much as a regular LE and quite often worth considerably more, depending on the lighthouse.

Well how about that! Maybe that is why Nancy was so surprised when she signed the piece she asked where I got it. Ol' dummy me just said " Just over there off the display shelf." The piece did not have a box or paperwork though the store owner said that the Rep would provide and they would call me.
