This topic and question was moved from General Forums. Although a discussion with the same topic exists in the "General Forum", I thought this question would be better answered here. - Bob

No official numbers have been released by Harbour Lights.
It appears that about 400 of each piece were made -- for sale in Great Britain. They begin numbering at 2001.
This is because the first 2000 numbers WERE going to be sent to the autoship US dealers for sale to US Collectors.
These pieces (the US ones) were made later and were not accepted by HL due to quality problems. HL then decided to cancel the line - with an option to begin again in the future.

Makes the 1000+ Hooper Strait edition look pretty mammoth. A while back in the "Fog Signal Building" forum, I made an urgent case for the aquisition of the Pharos pieces because they were the lowest edition sizes since the original 'skinny neck' Cape hatteras from 1991. If you can still get 'em from Jolly Old England, it would be money well spent. These puppies are the scarcest of the scarce.

They are still available in England for $248 a set of five, plus approximately $40 for shipping. The guy in England selling these pieces has a few sets on eBay even as we speak. If you want them, they are available. Bob

I just purchased 2 sets. At the time of purchase (10/22) he had 9 sets total left. There was one on e-bay, I purchased 2 so that left 6 remaining at that time. He did state, however, that he was trying to procure more but his distributor may have ran dry. I'm just lucky that I was able to purchase 2 sets. If there are only 400 of each piece it was definetly well worth the $248 x 2 plus the $65 shipping.

Just received my 2 sets from Britain. 5 beautiful pieces. Was lucky enough to get some low numbers too. I actually received them faster than others I have ordered and received from my own state. Dave

I received my Pharos set today and must say these models of lights from the British Isles have really caught my fancy. Maybe its the colors, or the sculpted water, or the excellent detail on a slightly smaller scale. Easily some of HL's best work in the last couple years.
I tried to purchase them earlier, but they were not shown on the World of Collectibles web site. Glad I checked back as they are well worth the $285USD (shipped) for the set. Ordered on 10/29, arrived today - simple purchase over the Web. __ /im

Ordered my Pharos set last Thursday. Hemmed & hawed back in the summer when everyone else got their sets. Saw the set pictured on E-bay last week & decided I had to have it.
Did a search trying to turn up info on the Shoppers World or World of Shopping that I rememberd being mentioned but came up with no contact info.
Then this thread mentioned sets being still available. E-mailed my postcard buddy Bob M. & he confirmed that he had purchased his set thru Nautical World. E-mailed & he had one set left, faxed CC info & it was shipped Friday.
A perfect example of how valuable the Forums are to the Wacko collector. I had no hope of finding the Pharos at retail until I saw it here.
Thanks everyone! Donna

I found out about these through the forum. If it wasn't for this I would have missed out.
I did see that Mark, from Nautical World, has another set on E-bay as of this morning.
