I see you were in our neck of the woods. Nice pics! I hope you enjoyed our area on what appeared to be a beautiful day.

I'm looking forward to revisiting these lights once the crowds are gone for the season. It's too bad you missed the BI Ferry. Block Island is truly a beautiful place to visit with its two great lighthouses.

Any more pics from your adventure?

If you had to miss the ferry to Block Island, you certainly ended up at the right location. Love those lights.

Thanks for sharing! You brought back some warm, fuzzy memories of the area on my part. I especially like the Castle Hill one...that's one of my favourite lights of all time. It's so beautiful and picturesque...just amazing in general.

BTW...maybe I'm wrong and you have a time machine and this is what these lighthouses will look like next year...but shouldn't this thread be "Greetiungs From New England 2005?"

Jim - Thanks for the nice pictures! Is that Yellow "Police Tape" I see in the Pemaquid shot? Was there some kind of problem when you were there? I know there have been a few people killed in that area who ventured too far out on the rocks.

My best,
Paul Conlin

Real nice picture Jim. That one of Pemaquid that you used for your avatar is a terrific shot. Pemaquid is one light that I have to get back to someday as the pictures I took of Pemaquid all have one large fingerprint on all of them. I learned to keep my fingers away from the lens after that, but it was much too late for my pictures that day.
