I took this picture during the Portsmouth Regional last year. (sorry it's not a better shot.) House is in Phoebus, a little ways outside of Ft Monroe. Tree has been painted brown with bands of black.

Neat photo for a super idea Mel, thanks. Hmmm, I have a couple of those tall tree trunks. I could paint 'em white and build a mini Chatham house in the space between them. Maybe when I have nothing better to do...but I wouldn't hold your breath! In the meantime they make great supports for the hammock. Hate to give that up!
