I went out to the west coast to catch a cruise to Alaska, and had planned to venture out to a dozen or so Seattle-area lights. Unfortunately, the weather was miserable on my free day so I only decided to visit Mukilteo , but I was able to get out to West Point Light for sunset the night before the cruise:

West Point Lighthouse at Sunset

Other lights photographed from a distance:

Sentinel Island Light (AK)

Entrance Island Light (British Columbia)

Trial Island (British Columbia)

If you'd like to see more non-lighthouse photos from the trip, you can view them here .

I thought I posted in this thread but now I don't see my post. I guess I must have pressed a wrong button.

Well anyways, great picture with super composition, Cary!

We also just did 12 days on land in Alaska and 7 day inside passage cruise, two days in Victoria and two in Vancouver. Had a super time. Saw 11 lights and 2 lenses in Alaska, even got to climb two! Saw 9 lights and the Trial Island original lens in Victoria/Vancouver. Got some great photos, but have not learnt how to post them here......sorry.

We are currently in the same area- Vancouver at the moment.

We drove up from Seattle and got to see 3 lights along the way- Mukilteo, Bush Point and Admiralty Head. We were able to climb the tower there but the keeeper's house part was closed.

We also saw the three Vancouver area lighthouses (Brockton Point, Point Atkinson and Prospect Point) from a float plane on the way to Whistler and from the Whistler Mountaineer train on the way back to Vancouver.

I'll get to Fisgard today or tomorrow while on Vancouver Island. More to follow with photos
