I have been wanting to do a Windjammer cruise in Maine for several years and have never gotten around to doing it. This year a friend at work asked if I would like to share a cabin and as luck would have it one of the weeks that was open is a lighthouse cruise in the Penobscot Bay!! We will be on the Mary Day the week of Aug 31 and the brochure says that Ted Pantonoff (not sure how to spell that) of The Elms Bed and Breakfast in Camden will also be on board. This should be very informative. It will be great for me because I have seen most of the area land based lighthouses but not the ones on the islands. Come on August! Terry

We have taken 3 different trips with Ted as guide (and stayed at the Elms) and he is really great with the LH knowledge. Know you will have a super trip.

Terry, I have also gone on one of Ted's trips and I thought it was great. Also if you get up to Bar Harbor, try to get a plane ride over the area lighthouses. It was definately worth it.
