Anything in it about the new surprise release for 2002 that hadn't been mentioned before?

Featured items are the Guardians of the Night and Crossover Island NY.

The Forums have a full page article relating a funny thread about collecting from several months ago. (Including the URL of the Forums.)

But also included with the mailing was a 2003 Harbour Lights calendar, and an update on event locations and dates. This calendar features Mark Sherman's past works and some photography from a number of collectors. The size of the calendar is smaller than in the past (8.5x11).

Bob, I don't know if you noticed, but John didn't answer your question about the surprise announcement that may be coming. OH WELL! Maybe someone else will tell us. Come on JOhn, TELL US if there's anything in the new Legacy!!

No hints or revelations that the sharp-eyed and well-informed CF members and readers don't already know about.

Sorry...

My Legacy arrived yesterday! Lots of familiar faces in this issue! No hint of what's new or coming out in the line of limited editions. Great issue and I love that calendar!

We Texans were a triple hitter laugh . Me winning the GOLD with some really big smiles. Terry in the thread from the forums and the Houston Light Keepers were in the list of independent clubs and the calendar. We have had an email already from someone who wants to join. laugh

I actually read the thing several times already.

Still no Legacy here in CA (Central Alabama!). Of course, the bills were all on time! I have seven new lights - including that Summer Ft. Tompkins - 'on the way' ... no UPS today, maybe Monday will bring both the Legacy and my lights!

Maybe this is the week that we in New England will get the Legacy. Always interesting to see its arrival marching across the US, but the wait is sometime unbearable.

A while back it was discussed that you could pay extra (first class mail?) to get your legacy faster. Did anyone do this and if they paid extra, did their copy arrive faster than the others who have gotten theirs already?
