This time I know which one it is - look on the left hand side.

This one has our new car (1954 Ford Station Wagon) with my mother in the front seat and my 14 year old sister on the wall.

I think this was taken from the Fort. This was mine from a similar position, but with a digital camera with a zoom.

So by now you know this is St. Augustine

I couldn't get as far away to get a straight shot of the lighthouse like my dad did. These are my picture taken in 2005

In 1954, I was 16 years old and I first tried my driver's test in our 1948 Ford 2 door. But I couldn't parallel park because someone had stolen the drivers side mirror the day before and that confused me. After we bought this car, I retook the test and this time passed it. I was sharing the driving on this trip, and I remember coming to an intersection in Florida and asking which way to go. My dad said "Go left". My mom said "Go right" and my sister said "Go straight". So I went straight - not because I thought my sister was right but because it would have been too hard to turn by that time.

Anyway, here's another comparison.

Here's me in 1954 in Ormond Beach riding a live steer.

And this is me in early 2007 (older and fatter) with one of my grandchildren
