I recently went to Niagara Falls along with my daughter Eileen, her husband Ed and my granddaughter Kaitlyn. We stayed at the KOA campground in Lewiston about 15 minutes from the falls. This campground is very convenient to the entire area for you campers out there. We did all the falls sights and covered the Seaway Trail lights from Erie Land light up to Sodus Point (about 1/2 way). I thought it would be the right thing to start out my posts with the ELL. So without further ado here it is.
















This was a light Eileen saw as we started to drive away. I believe its called Erie Pierhead Light. If I'm wrong and you know the correct name please say so. Thanks.

It was Grace and he weather was great the whole trip. We drove home in pouring rain but you can't win them all.

Nice photos of our special CF light. You are correct in that the other is the Erie Pierhead Light. I have seen it referred to also as "Presque Isle North Pierhead" probably since it is located in the Presque Isle State Park. We visited it in 2003 along with the Presque Isle Lighthouse and Erie Land Lighthouse which was under a lot of renovation back when we saw it. It didn't even have the lantern on it when we were there so it is good seeing it in restored shape.

I think this bit of info has pushed us over to the Super Wacko side of the universe!
