I thought I would try this spot once more.. The early morning light works well!!


This lighthouse resembles a fort or castle at times..


The new Harbour Lights Little Light that sits proudly on the mantle in the parlor of the lighthouse.. Sue and I presented it to Bill and Mary, your host and hostess for you stay at the lighthouse... It was from Harbour Lights and Bill Younger signed it and wrote a personal message on it for them.. By the way this is a place of honor next to the Fresnel by Harbour Lights and the clock behind the lens is the original clock at the lighthouse when it first opened.. It had been taken many years ago and now has returned and sits on the mantle, also.


I hadn't shot any flowers for a couple of days so here's some daisies.


We were early meeting up with the Wackos so I went ahead and shot some pictures of the Portage River Light..

From the front you can see a part that has been added on to it.. It is privately owned and for sale for $500,000.

We caught up with the group as they arrived at the Keweenaw Lower Entry Light..


Everyone headed out across the breakwater to the light..


I caught up quickly and even got ahead of them..

So I could get a shot of their smiling faces as the made the trek out..


They arrived and wait for the coast Guard to arrive to open the tower.. Sue and I left the group to come back and check in to the hotel for the next three nights around our cruises and to post the past three day's of images..

Day Ten, tomorrow is Cruising the Cruise Day One!!!
