Not I. I wish I did though, still have 7 or 8 to get. Christmas, reunion, event, & society are taken care of though.

I do have all the buttons & brochures and junk. LOL.

If it has a HL#, I have it (brag, brag). HL revisions and mold changes included. Also, GLOWs (natch, they have an HL#) and ABs.

When you were lucky enough to start collecting in '91 (when HL started) the early ones were easy to get. According to Kim, it is possible that I was their first customer.

No Coquille - but plan to have it in GLOW. No original Hatteras - but all the others. We don't have the reunion pieces from the 2nd one, but we were lucky enough to trade and get the NPL and the mini from the first. Needless to say, thumbnails are also missing. We have the GLOWs, but we think we're going to bypass some of the revisions.

I guess I don't qualify in the strictest sense, but I probably could if Bill Gates would loan me some Microsoft stock.

I have all the early ones except the mythical, mystical Coquille and CH1. Also have the Reunion, Society and Christmas groups. I stopped buying all of them after Cape Henry and stuck to the east and gulf coasts. So I suppose I could catch up over the next year or so, especially if HL keeps a slow pace of introduction. But that still leaves the problem of where to put them all!

Maybe in the retirement home I can build shelves into the wall and have them all on display at once. They'll let me do that, won't they?

I guess I am one of the lucky ones; like Fred I began collecting in 1991 when harbour lights first came out; have all pieces including the original cape hatteras and coquille; if you get out to Washington state I would be happy to show you them -- they are all displayed in our living room so I enjoy them everyday; of course there isn't a flat surface that doesn't have a lighthouse sitting on it

I missing 9 LEs plus the two NPLs. I don't have the thumbnails from the first reunion. I have five ABs so far. My Glow collection is almost complete also.

Hi Orv, ... I guess a complete collection of Glows would be one of each Glow made including the revised pieces. Although some of our LE collectors consider Glows as giftware, I consider them collectables. I will always feel that way until the same model is issued as "salt & pepper shakers".... ( LOL!!!)

Not the complete collection but I just completed a collection within a collection. Yesterday, I got the SE Block Island LE so I have all six versions. It makes a very nice display. Now if I can just complete my Coquille River collection.

I have every retired le, event piece, Christmas piece, club & reunion piece. I usually wait to get a new piece until it has or is about to retire, or if I it is put out in an edition size under 10,000.
I do not include variations, one of a piece is good enough. I will usually buy the variation I like better(as in the beavertail), etc.

I am amazed!!! I envy you all. My 12 peices showes how much of a newbie I really am. Hope to find all of the west coast ones soon. The big two rare ones will be tough. You are a real encouragement to us new guys. I know now that it can be done! Would love to see a complete set someday. My daughter is going off to college soon and I'll have a spare bedroom to fill up. Plenty of room for the boxes too. Keep on collection!

Mombo, Thanks for the welcome. My daughter has been a streight A student all her life. Am counting on scholarships. She already has several offers. Hope I don't have to sell any to get her through. I picked up three more HL's today. Running out of room. May need to send her off sooner! Am I hooked or what?

3 admitted full LE collections!!!
Congrats to Fred, Noelle & Ladybug!

Does this mean there are a lot of CR, CH1 & 2s in the hands of non collectors(locals?)?
Any garage sale luck in those areas?

Or are we too paranoid to admit we have them?
Afraid of visitors?
Or are the real hardcore collectors to poor to afford computers?

Can we get some more people to sign in?
And can you guys in the know add some secondary info from non pc collectors?

Sorry to be slow responding. My husband and I have been out of town for 16 days. We had a great trip to Paris and another great trip to NY and Mystic, CT. Saw lots of lighthouses in CT, Hudson River, & Long Island. Anyway, in response to the question, we have all limited editions with the exception of CH1 and Couquille River. We have all ornaments, reunion, society, and Christmas. We have not bought any GLOWS. We have them all displayed in a custom made cabinet that is 8 feet high and 7 feet wide. It is very crowded even with that size of case. We're going to have to get a new display case for additional new ones.

I am now finaly getting around to posting, I have a complete collection with the exception of the original Hatteras, I have every piece with a lightning rod except Sandy Hook (I will get around to it sooner or later) and all of the same pieces without the lightning rods including Sandy hook (no rod), I think I have all paint varitions (green water/blue water, tan tower/gray tower. All the reunion pieces and event pieces, society, Christmas, ornaments, K&F,spyglass sets, thumbnails.
and about 7 or 8 GLOWS (but I doubt I will get any more GLOWS)
I think I am only missing :
Burrows flag error piece
Mukilteo flag error piece (have 3 out of the 4 flag varitions)
Pt Fermin - Charter members mini

We only need 8 to have one of each LE. We have one of each GLOW, Xmas, Society, etc.
plus some of the variations. Still need
Coquile, Cape Hatteras 1 & 2; Hilton Head; Key West; St Simon; St. Augustine; and Tybee.

Paul has reminded me that I am also missing the Split rock, MI variation too.

Sorry for any undue inconvenience this may have caused.

Sincerly, the Postmaster Colonel

Mark,

You simply cannot *begin* to imagine the undue inconvenience this little oversight of yours has caused me! You'd better be sorry. Expect a call from my attorney.

Art, I am realy sorry about this misunderstanding. I am not looking forward to a call from your attorney, after your servant staff fired 2 shots at me when I was in D.C. I can't imagine what kind of pitbull your attorney must be.

Mark

P.S. Why won't a snake bite an attorney ?

Mark,
Don't be taking potshots at lawyers. After all, it's only 99% that give the rest a bad name.

Incidently did you hear that they are replacing rats with attorneys for experimentation. There are some things rats just won't do.

lawyers also...
...are not as cute as the rats
...aren't missed when they're gone

and I'm sure there are many more.

By the way, Mark- I understand that Art is repesented by the high powered Pigeon Forge firm of Dewey, Screwum & Howe, a real bunch of fine examples of the legal profession.
