The numbers look good, John. I'm sorry I've been a little slow on posting lately. Work has kept me extremely busy, there is always something to do around the house, and it's time to get "It's Only Money" back in the water. There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day!

We continue to average 50+ messages a day. In the 125 days since 3/1/00, another 6,364 messages for a total (including this one) 31,160.

A few hundred more in closed Forums.

We slowed down a bit in the summer - about 42 messages a day.

As of Labor Day 2000, the total count on open forums is 33,663 - with about 9% of those coming from yours truly. My personal message meter will roll over to 3,000 with a couple more.

Sorry Tim, I don't have a way of counting how many messages are posted on any given day - the low tech approach to get the total count is to use the calculator while viewing the front page to the Forums.

Now if anyone would like to volunteer for that job...

We've got 673 registered users for the Forums, but 420 have posted 5 or fewer messages:

Lighthousekeepers.com receives about 480-500 unique visitors a day. In August, 2000, we had 48,601 hits.

I missed your question when you posted it. No data on hits. Wish I had kept track. Number of paid members was around 50 if I remember correctly. (For newcomers, on my old 'unofficial' site, contibutors helped out by underwriting the costs of maintaining and updating the site in return for access to some unique and/or advance information.)

Just checking on messages today - 35,773.

The 'Active Message Meter' rolled past 37,500 this morning. Averaging about 37 new messages a day since the last check up.

There are some messages on closed boards that aren't counted.

...and all 181,296,989 Bytes have been hand tallied, completely backed-up, and certified by this one man canvasing board today at 1:38 PM EST.
