I have been unable to "edit" ANY post in THE MARKETPLACE since the system change. All my other posts are editable, but nothing in The Marketplace. Anybody else having this problem??? Is a general problem?

I tried to edit one of my other postings earlier, but it would not let me include the piece of html that we have been using to cover the edit at the end.

ok, now 5 edits, I went back to the photography forum again and tried to edit a posting there and got this message - FYI

Mark, I'm having no problems editing any other post in any other forum including ones that contain

Only problem appears to be in THe MarketPlace. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that No REPLY posts are permitted in The Marketplace and the system is confusing a REPLY with an edit by the author. The error messge states "No posts permitted here"


I just edited this message without problem. The new system is definetly got quite a few quirks that are different that in the old system.

I've also noticed that in MY PROFILE (at least with me) it will not accept any UBB in the profile signiture even though it specifically states that it is acceptable.

Having that line showing "posts, from and registered" included at the bottom of each post makes my editing do strange things. It sort of sucks it up into the revised message, like this:

Also is there a "review topic" (or whatever it was called) button that I don't seem to find?

It appears that the inability to EDIT your post in a "no-reply" forum (The NEW Marketplace) is intended to work that way.
