Many of you know that the Pensacola Lighthouse has been closed for the last year to visitors who wanted to climb the tower. Only the grounds have been open, and the Keepers Quarters on occasions. Very nice news that this tower will once again be open to climb. Hopefully things will settle down for the association now, and the potential of becoming part of the NPS inventory will help to keep the light open into the future.

Nice to see PNS light back open to the public. Just one thing, Ponce Inlet is the tallest LH in Florida.

Perfect timing as the Bradys are going to visit Pensacola in June after the Regional.. Hopefully they have more than just Saturday tours by then.

Right you are Eric, Ponce is the tallest, however, the reporter most likely meant that Pensacola has the heightest focal plane (in Florida), which would be true.
