Glad to see some work done of this one. Don't know if it could take another Hurricane without repairs.

It may not withstand another Hurricane even with the repairs. We saw on our recent trip out there that here are two cracks that run the length of the tower..

Here is one of the cracks that Paul was talking about. It has a matching crack on the other side of the tower. Looks like the whole lighthouse could spit right in half all the way down the middle. One side falling to the south and the other side falling to the north. This picture was taken in June on our Gulf Coast Lighthouseing Trip with Dave.

Well Old Cape Henry had cracks over 100 years ago and it is still standing. Not to mention an older lighthouse. Nonetheless it will be good when all is fixed.
