Lighthouse Hoax

Some people think this is a hoax Larry but I can assure you, as Secretary General of Boon Island Security, I have been very busy ensuring that Boon Island is safe and will stay where salt water will surround her (vice fresh). I cannot reveal the measures we have taken to ensure this but believe me, all of our resources are being used and are at the ready.

While I was reading through today's Bay City Times here in Michigan, there it was, I photo of Regent Lord Master Tim Harrison and Security General Ron Foster dressed up in full uniform. It was a great article entitled "Lighthouse groups wage war to raise funds". and was by Pat Shellenbarger of the Times News Service.

I was sad to see that the efforts have only raised $18,000 of the $100,000 goal so far, but hopefully the exposure will help.

The latest GLLKA journal also has a great story on this "debate." Hope the press will help raise the extra funding needed.
