Just to let any travelers know that this Lighthouse in Texas is still in it's preservation stage. The lantern room was removed last year, but attached as of Christmas '99, however, contractors are in dispute as to finishing the exterior.
The Chamber of Commerce hope to see a finished restoration this Spring or Summer 2000! So do I!
