The bid is at $65,100 and the reserve is not met. It makes me wonder what the reserve is...

That is a very unique piece of property. It will be interesting to see if anyone takes the bait and purchases the place. They had better have deep pockets for renovations.

Location, location, location.... The owners I believe are from California. Why they wanted a fix-er-upper on a secluded island 20 miles out is beyond me. Wondering if they visited more than once? I had a bid package from when it was previously sold by the GSA but I can't find it right now. The minimum bid then was $50K. Don't think it went for a whole lot more.

The other property on the island was sold in August of '99, a fancy hunting lodge. If a caretaker is the only other resident maybe that place doesn't get much use either?
