Let's call this 'stockade fence' the County plans to have built in the next 3 weeks 'The Wall of Shame.'

I wonder if a fence of this type, size and length falls under any County ordinances?

This is an all-too-sad example of government abusing its power. If Currituck County wasn't a county government, then this wouldn't all happen.

Also, if this is tried in Currituck County court, I personally declare it unconstitutional.

Remember this?

Quote:
Amendment VI

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.
Sorry, but don't think that can happen in the court that the prosecutor runs. mad
