Hi, I'm new to this site and want to know if anyone here knows about the lighthouses in Florida. I used to work at St. Augustine Lighthouse last year.

You should ask this question in the Forum titled Lighthouse duty or the Map Room.

I'm sure you'll get many responses. Many of us were at St Augustine last year- especially about this time last year for the Lighthouse Festival and HL Regional.

I could give you some info on Florida Lighthouses. I am a member of the Florida Lighthouse Association. We meet every 3 months at a different lighthouse in Florida. It is a good way to see and learn about the 30 lights. I am also on the board of directors for St. George Lighthouse Association. Our group is going to rebuild the lighthouse. There are others that on the forum that could help too.

Hi everyone.

I used to live in Florida for the past 5 years and last year I was a volunteer at St. Augustine. Ever since then I've had a growing love of lighthouses. I was suppose to go the St. Augustine for that lighthouse festival last weekend, but something came up and I could'nt make it

Did anyone here go to it? if so, can you post pictures if possible?

I also now lots about NC lights.

How did you join the Florida Lighthouse Association? I went to their site last year to join but there was no place for me to sign up....

On the first page to the left near the top look for JOIN. Click that and at the top of the page you can down load an application. The website also has links to some of the individual lighthouse groups. Also if you click TOUR on the first page, it will take you to a map that shows surviving lighthouses as well as some that are gone. Click a part of the map and you will get an area map, then click a lighthouse and info will be shown.
