Just got my February issue of Lighthouse Digest today and it has an interesting article on Point Abino. Article is also a concern as it deals with the light's neighbors refusing anyone access to the light. Too bad that a small group of people are able to exert such control over what is in fact something that belongs to all Canadian residents.

I live in Bflo.NY and I have visited this lovely lighthouse. We had to sign a 3 page waiver saying that essentually we wouldn't do anything other than breathe their air.The guard led you to believe that it was a little down the road from where they made you leave your car and proceed on foot, but it was close to a mile and a half each way. Treacherous on an 85 degree day!The lighthouse was beautiful and I think it would be a wonderful collectible for HL's to make for those of us who have seen it; but mostly for those who will never have the chance because of a wealthy few!

Wow...if you would have never said Danbury Mint I would mistaken this piece for a Harbour Light. HL has to do this one and soon!!!!! I don't own any internationals, but this is one I would JUMP at instantly! Thanks for that link!
