I was doing a little looking at a local book store and ran across a picture of an old lighthouse that looked rather unique. It was "Frank's Island" light in Louisiana. The light tower was in the middle with the keeper quarters around it in a circle. I think it would make an interesting piece

Here's a story from Lighthouse Digest on the lighthouse - only the empty tower shows in the picture from 2001.

You have to wonder about the builders if just ten days after being lighted, Frank Island Lighthouse "moaned and groaned and simply fell over"!

I agree this would be a nice piece. And it would be good to have another Gulf Coast addition to the collection.
