Thanks John. Since last May I have been displaying my collection at the city hall of Eureka, CA. In support of that effort, Bill had the company send me an LE Yerba Buena (#639) to present to the city. I have been changing the display every 6 or 7 weeks since they could only handle 25 or 26 at a time. They've had about 130 of them all told. Yesterday, we were able to finally capture Mayor Nancy Flemming long enough to allow me to present her with Yerba Buena which had been hiding in the city manager's office till then. That's the caption to go with the picture: "Harbour Lights Collector Rich Rohweder presents limited edition Yerba Buena Light to Mayor Nancy Flemming of Eureka, California."

My college is going to get almost my entire collection starting in January for a couple of months. They asked, and since they built a new 14 million dollar Learning Resource Center for me to display it in, I just had to say yes. I actually think the LRC's director just wanted to get them one more time before I retire next summer.

So that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

WTG Rich ! That has been and is an excellent method of promoting lighthouse awareness.

You have an attractive and very young looking Mayor, Rich. She certainly looks better than the five Selectmen in charge of my town. (lol)

Just wait till they send you the bill for them since they were built for you!

It is great that the city and the college want to display your HLs. You must be making a positive impact to have that influence. Bravo Zulu, WO.
