Made reservations to go home to VA, leaving on the 13th til the 24. What Lighthouses should I go visit? Old Pt Comfort is just 15 minutes from the family home, so that's a given.

I've never been to New Point Comfort, or Cape Henry. We visited Assateague, Cape Hatteras and Bodie Island last year. So may be I need to finish up that group and go back to NC and see Currituck and Ocracoke it probably wouldn't hurt to drop by Bodie and Cape Hatteras again being that I "woke up stupid" that day last year and didn't have film in the camera Did have film in the Camcorder though.

I thought that I was the only one who ever "woke up stupid"!
I am afraid of heights. I have only been able to climb one lighthouse. We were at Wind Point, Wisconsin last summer and I could not make the climb, but my husband and kids did. They took my camera up to the top, but I only had 2 pictures left on the roll and I didn't sent another roll up with them!

Have fun visiting the Virginia lights. I have never been there, but hope to some day. Please let us know about your adventures!

To Cathy, If I end up with an unexpected souvenir from this trip, I'm really in trouble. #1 my husband isn't going, and #2 I'm past that age!LOL

To Bonnebert: Thanks for reminding about the Portsmouth ship...one of my aunts lives in Portsmouth so maybe I can visit both the same day..I'll just have to go to the ship first, cause once I get to Aunt Norma's she won't let you go until she feeds you and of course get caught up on family gossip!
