Hi, I am one of the many newbies on the scene (for Army folks, a newbie is the equivalent of an FNG), and my main goal in life is to become a wacko. But after wacko there is no place to go. I think there should be a few levels above wacko to fill the void between wacko and pope, after all, a person with 5 or 600 postings should definitely be given the respect that's due him or her.
All in favor of this, e-mail in, all opposed, turn your computer off. Is there any suggestions on how many levels there should be?
How about what they should be called.

Hey WhizKid - for a guy with 17 posts so far, you're really thinking ahead, aren't you? And once you do reach Wacko status, will that change your username to WhizMan or WhizWacko?

The Newbie and Wacko designations reflect the limitations of the forum software that this are runs on. There have been a number of requests to the developers to allow administrators to set up more levels, but with no luck so far.

Let's say that there was a new level above 'Wacko'... What would you name it? And Why? And how many posts would it require?

Harking back to my old army days, it seems that wackoness is about equivalent to becoming a non-commissioned officer (Sergeant). As such, it seems obvious:

Wacko
Staff Wacko
Wacko First Class
Master Wacko
First Wacko
Wacko Major
Command Wacko Major
Wacko Major of the UBB

Personally, I've always wanted to be a Drill Wacko.

Drop and give me twenty (posts)!

Personally, I would rather use Lighthouse Service terms such as:
Assistant Keeper
Head Keeper
District Inspector

"TheLightkeeper"

I don't think there is a step above WACKO.

It is a lifetime honor bestowed on us. Carry this title with pride and the knowledge that your friends and family can said he or she MADE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to take this one step at a time. I think that achieving WACKO status will be fine. I've set my sights on wacko, but more so on collecting more lighthouses and visiting more lighthouses.

Hey Whizkid, I just checked my status and I'm one behind you, Come to think of it, I think we are equal at 17 with this posting. Isn't it great to think that we reached the 1/3 mark at achieving Wacko.

Wacko is enough for me. Don't need any promotion just for talking a lot!

I vote for Dave H's WACKO rankings....guess this means I better start posting in the forum more often.

Hi all,

How about something like...wacko to the second power...wacko to the third power..with each level moving up double the amount of posts..takes 50 to make wacko..would take 100 to make wackox2..would take 200 to make wacko wacko wacko.. Hey,I only have a few more to make wacko,I will think about it more afterwards..

I'm still 4 short of wacko after this post. I should reach Wackodom today. I don't think any distinction above wacko is necessary. It says it all for me.

All the current Saints and Cruise Directors have already GOTDE, so they wouldn't have to re-qualify to keep their current status.

I've been in counseling since achieving wacko status. I'm not certain my budget will allow the kind of therapist higher status would require.

Hey Saint John

I just looked up your posts and about fell over! At 1689, there's got to be something above Saint.
I do like Whizwacko for 3rd spot though. LOL
