Let me be the first to welcome Harry to his new Forums dedicated to him and his new line of lighthouses. Harry, you do realize that now that you are a member and have your own Forum that you have your dues to pay. A reasonable dues amount is a couple of Krispy Kreme Donuts for each member of the Forums that welcomes you! Whoever said that you were going to make any profit from your Jones Point Lighthouse had be insane or a Krispy Kreme hater.

Rich, thank you for the welcome. Krispy Kremes sounds like a great idea.
The production of the Jones Point Lighthouse is going very well. In years past I would fly to Beijing, over night at a hotel near the airport, fly early the next morning to the small city where the workshops are located and spend the day inspecting Harbour Lights pieces. Another night near the workshop and then reverse my journey back home. 38 hours of flying for 10 hours of inspecting!
Last night I Skyped the workshop and using a tablet on their end, inspected the Jones Point pieces one by one. It took about 3 hours. Sitting at my desk, with a cool adult beverage at my side. Oh, how technology has improved life.
The pieces looked amazing. They have a few more to finish. The felt and labels need to be put on and then packages. It is quite possible the pieces will leave the workshop late next week. Yahoooo!

I guess my instructions about posting pictures helped a little even though I still have trouble posting myself. It must be my old age that still wants to take pictures with a SLR film camera instead of a digital.

Jones Point really looks great!

Trees have come a long way since those early pieces, haven't they?

When I talked to Harry today he indicated that Jones Point might be shipped by air this week and would arrive about the middle of next week. Harry has some prep work to do when the pieces arrive and than he will begin shipping. Hopefully we will have them by the 1st week in June.

I neglected to mention (actually I forgot because of old age) to mention that Harry is in the process of sending out an email to the 3,000+ people on his mailing list about Jones Point. SO, if you are on the fence trying to decide whether to buy one or not, you might not want to procrastinate since it will be first come, first sold for his remaining pieces.
