I'm researching information on a soda bottle with the image and brief history of the Tybee Island Lighthouse on it put out by Harbour Lights. Does anyone have product information concerning this soda bottle (i.e. cost, quantity, product number, date produced, etc)?

What kind of soda, Rich? I'm losing memory, but I sure don't remember hearing about anything like this one.

It appears to be a cola. I called Tybee Lighthouse Gift Shop and they never ordered any of these so I'm in the blind about this.

Do you have the bottle ? If you do and can send me a picture I will post it for you. I have never heard of anything like this from Harbour Lights either.

In the Trading Post string KellyCeltic posted that she had a Harbour Lights soda bottle for sale. Perhaps there is your source...

This is the one from KellyCeltic and I assume that she did not have any info as the person that bought it has no info.

Here is the reply from Harry on this bottle plus there could actually be 5 more bottles floating around.

"I had to call Bill and Kim on this one as I don’t remember anything like this.

So the story is, that about 15 years ago a guy met up with Bill during the Atlanta Trade show. He worked for a novelty bottling plant and had a six pack of cola bottles mocked up with the design you have. Bill can’t remember if all six were all different designs. What they wanted to do was market the colas using the Harbour Lights brand in stores like Bevmo and gift stores on and around the coast. Nothing ever came of that first conversation and I assume the idea was dropped by the bottling company.

This sure is an unusual find".

I will have some pictures posted later on.

So, if the guy made up 6 samples did he also make up the carrier for the 6 pack, too? If so, wonder what happened to it?
