Putting up my Christmas pieces and dropped the plane from the Perkins Island piece!
Anyone have an extra or know where I might be able to get a replacement??
With the death of HL and LHD probably an impossibility , BUT, when in doubt come to the Forums!
FYI, BE CAREFUL with the plane seems to be VERY fragile it fell all of 2 feet unto a plush carpet and broke into 6 pieces.
It also happens to be the piece my 4yr.old grandson wants someday!

Rick, were the breaks clean or did the pieces shatter? If the breaks were clean Rich might be willing to try to repair for you.

I would be willing to give it a shot at repairing(at no charge) if you want to send it to me with return postage. No garrantee of course as I've repaired many lighthouses but never a plane. Of course, they would have to be clean breaks and not shattered as Dave mentioned.

Have an extra for Hospital Point, but that's it. Sorry I can't help.

I have seen his work and in my opinion it is better than what I have seen of so called professional restorers. And you can't beat his price.

I knew I could depend on the Forum "fanatics" for help! I very much appreciate Rich's repair offer but on closer inspection the plane shattered into more than 5/6 usable pieces and only the body and 2 of the wings survived to a point they may be repairable.
Thanks again and please keep me in mind if someone happens to come across a plane for the piece!
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all and please remember the victims in the Connecticut tragedy. I just found out one of the victims may have a connection here in Central NY!

Unfortunatly My information was correct! The grandson of a former teaching colleague was a victim in the Connecticut shooting! My memory fails me but I believe the mother may have been a former student! Regardless I did know the mom!
Please remember him and all the innocent victims of this senseless event in your prayers at this time of what should be a joyful season!
