Hey y'all, It's been a long time since i've visited! anyhow, this what i've been collecting lately; LIGHTHOUSE PATCHES! Spacifically those straight from the lighthouses themselves, or ones that are of a particular lighthouse! Ya know, none of those that are maybe, a police patch with a lighthouse on it! If anyone can hook me up with conections to these, or point me in a direction,,, that'll be great! Anyway, I'm a biker, and cut ties to all my rider's groups, and those kinda patches! So, I've made my biker jacket into a lighthouse patch jacket! I'm having fun collecting the patches! Because I couldn't find a REAL COOL larger one for the back of my jaacket, I'm designing one, and having it made. The size is about 10"x15", Here it is, what's ya think?
Very nice Rusty. Reminds me of the patch on the back of the suede jackets HL sold at one point.
I would suggest you contact the various lighthouses that have gift shops to see if they have patches. I know in my travels I picked up patches at a number of differnt lights, just can't remember which right now.
Ya, MelJB, Picking them up on my Lighthouse visits is my goal, and preference! I want the patches to reflect where I've been! Although, am finding most of the gift shops I've been to, don't cary a patch! I live down here by the St. Augy Light, and their shop didn't have one! I hear alot, "we used to cary them"! I'd be real interested in some of those patches you spoke of from Harbour Lights! Never have seen those! Anyone have pictures?
