The Lighthouse Depot Retail store had a tradition of displaying one of every retired Harbour Lights Limited Edition Replica. This Collection is now available for purchase on the following basis:

All of these display pieces are being sold without original boxes, registration cards, product history or other printed materials. Each piece will be carefully inspected and packed at time of shipment.
2. This Collection consists of approximately 94 Limited Edition Replicas which will be offered for Sale in One of Two Ways:

A)Sealed Bid Auction with Reserve

Edition 3"s 42101-42125 which includes #42102R Cape Hatteras, #42108 Burrows Island OR (not WA), #42111 Coquille River, #42125 Portland Head along with 19 other replica numbers between #42101 and #42124. You will have ONE chance to submit a separate e-mail bid for each replica that you choose to prior to Tuesday 8/21/12 11:59pm est. Your bid amount will be held in confidence by Lighthouse Marketing LTD personnel. Lighthouse Marketing LTD has the right to reject any bids that do not meet a preset reserve(minimum) bid amount.

B) Replicas #42126-#42225 Plus #42700-#42712

First Come First Served – above pieces offered at MSR less 50% Less 20%. Order 5 or More pieces and your order will be Prioritized by total number of pieces ordered from above numbers and by time and date.

You will have until 11:59 PM Tuesday August 21st to indicate which pieces you may be interested in bidding on or purchasing.

You must participate by sending a seperate e-mail to support@lhdepot.com
for each replica between #42101 and #42125 that you wish to bid on along with your bid price.
Your email should include the piece you would like to order along with your full name, address and day time phone number (please do not include any credit card information)
Your will be notified by phone or e-mail as to the status of your bid(s) by August 23, 2012 and if you are a winner you will be asked for your payment information.

I have sympathy for you, Roland, and other dealers (if there ARE other dealers.)

Thanks John. Maybe when all of this is over with at LHD we can start seeing a return on our HL inventory investment.

Sorry, but I doubt it Roland. LHD's 80% and 15% off of that have sucked the money out of any prospective buyers IMO.

It will take a long time for buyers who were aware of those deep discounts to feel comfortable spending $75-$100+ on a single replica they could have bought for $18 during LHD's going-out-of-business sales.

I sure wish the,
"42102R CAPE HATTERAS $50.00 Produced in Canada REVISED MOLD", listed at the top of the page was for sale for $18.00!

Oh well at least all those Jordon Point, VA EXCLUSIVES can now be had for around $6.00 a "pop" instead of having to buy 6 LE at full price!

Another little piece of HL/LHD history.....

After all the years of looking at those display cases full of HLs in the LHD store, I had to acquire something to remember it.

I was thoroughly impressed how they arrived well packed in the typical blue HL box!

I believe all or the majority of the pieces in Section "B" went to 1 person.

I bought a piece for the same reason, I got the Split Rock, MN which is my favorite lighthouse location in the USA.. I now have three LE's of Split Rock on display including Bill's #1..

I picked up Sandy Hook and Portland Head. They packed them really well.
