Again, I can't believe I am the first person to post that they have received their copy of the latest Legacy. Great cover shot by Todd Shorkey ( story here ). (I am betting Todd got an advance copy since his picture was used.) Also included is HLs Christmas Card to society members, featuring a picture by Stephen Sostaric (Jakers). The Legacys should have started out from CA last Monday. Mine came first class with a meter date showing 12/5. (Pretty bas when the USPS can get an envelope from CA to IN in 3 days, but can't get an envelope from me to Randy - <200 miles awawy - for 5 days. Go figure.)

As noted elsewhere, included are pictures of the new releases but NOT of the 2 regional pieces. The start of the event calendar for next year, a nice thanks to John for his webmastering, some pictures of last years events.

Wow! Now I can't wait to get home to see the card! Unfortunately they insist on these final things. I haven't the slightest idea as to why...

Mine arrived today with 5 extra copies. It appears that I'm in a photo for the Long Island Regional event. No holiday card though. It was a very nice surprise to get the extra copies to pass out to family and friends.

Just goes to show how great an outfit Harbour Lights is. You get in the picture and they send extra copies for you to pass around. CONGRATULATIONS! Looking forward to getting my copy.

I was very impressed that they automatically sent the extra copies. I don't know of too many companies that do that on their own.

It arrived in NJ today.

It's full of great information- some that we didn't have here already, some we did.

Mine arrived here in Chesterfield, VA on Saturday and was waiting for me when I got back home from NC Monday evening.

Great issue, but there's some misinformation about the Currituck Beach Lighthouse and the transfer of ownership to the Outer Banks Conservationists, Inc.

No Legacy in St. Louis by regular methods, although my nephew Matthew received his copy by first class mail. He is pictured with Bill at a signing event at the Tic Tock Shop in Ellisville, MO. Matthew is excited and I keep asking for his autograph but he only says no. Maybe mine will arrive soon so that I can read the rest of the issue.

It is neat when you look at the Legacy and recognize friends and family.
My two boys were in the Legacy each one time.

Received ours on Tuesday 12/9. Great issue. I think John C deserved a page dedicated to him and all his hard work.

Thanks Dave!

Yes, I received some advance copies from Harbour Lights. I would like to thank Rachel and all of the fantastic staff in El Cajon for all of their hard work. You are awesome! The legacy looks fantastic as always.

Still no Legacy in southeastern, Massachusetts, where it was clear and cold today and we are expecting a lovely snowfall to cover our lands just in time for the third period (or so) of the New England Patriots vs Jacksonville Jaguars game tomorrow. The 65000 plus fans will love that!

For over a year now you have been able to add a small amount to your Society membership each year and get the Legacy delivered by First Class Mail.. That is how Dave H got his early... I have two Society memberships the one with the First Class Delivery on it came the same day as Dave's and the other one with Fourth Clas came over 2 weeks later.. If you want it earlier just add First Class to your membership fee each year!

I think that MJ and I will also look into paying extra for First Class delivery. We are STILL WAITING for it to arrive here in Groton, CT. Maybe Santa will bring one on his way through the Northeast.
