The news is out on Facebook, but my Collector Forums friends may not have heard that at the 50th Reunion of my High School Class, I returned home with great memories AND a fiancé.
Patty Jones and I lived one block apart all the time we were in school together from K-12; we were in the same kindergarten class and were always friends, but never dated.
We hadn't seen each other in over 50 years before July 14th. We danced a few dances, had a few dates after the reunion and I asked her to marry me; she said "Yes!" and she joined my son, Chris, and I on our return road trip to Phoenix. Patty lives in Sunnyvale CA. She's sending another week with us in Phoenix before returning to Sunnyvale.
We haven't set a date yet. Here's a photo of the happy couple at the Heartline Cafe in Sedona AZ yesterday.
I added the pic of John and Patty taken in Houston that he posted in facebook, to the above post.. I asked John to send me the pic taken in Sedona, AZ and I will see if I can add it...
