Can anyone tell me way #315 Herford Inlet and #710 Hereford Inlet are different colors.
One has a white house and tan roof and the other has a tan house and green roof.

After the #710 Hereford Inlet came out in 2000 the lighthouse was renovated to look like its original colors. Harbour Lights decided remake it again (#315 Herford Inlet)with the new renovated colors. The two colors of Hereford

I read the article in this months Lighthouse Digest "Lighthouse Paints, Colors, etc". I had always wondered why they were different and after I read the article, I thought maybe a renovation back to the original colors was the reason. But I thought I would ask to be sure. I knew I could get the answer from the forums.
