Back to Paul & Sue's Excellent NW Adventure Part III

I don't know how often I will post while on the Cruise but I thought I would start a new thread.. The Internet access fee is a little pricey so most of our minutes may be for email..

We still have more Excellent Adventure planned on the way home from the Cruise as we will be going the Northern route through Montana and South Dakota..

They've probably been Shanghi'd to Dutch Harbor and forced to fish for crab by a Deadliest Catch captain! applaud
They must be having a great time1 cheers

Paul has posted some pictures at his FACEBOOK PAGE -- I think you can view these without joining Facebook.

Hope "Paul and the Cruisers"(sounds like a rock band) were not in the vicinity when Anchorage experienced a 5.2 magnitude earthquake yesterday morning!
Otherwise am enjoying the photos on Facebook and can't wait for the trip reports when folks can begin posting!

I'm looking forward to hearing (and hopefully seeing) how the reunion cruise went.

I hope everyone on the cruise has a safe trip home.

We are back on the road.. It may take a couple of days of driving to recover from the Cruise.. I won't try and catch up with many images until we get home as we have several places to visit on the way home, such as glacier national park in Montana, Devils Tower, Mt. Rushmore, Badlands and Wall Drugs.. Today was tough changing from Cruise mode to driving mode...

I know what you mean about shifting modes. I did not enjoy the Space Needle because my ears insisted everything was moving.

We are still a couple of day's drive from home.. We stayed in Sioux Falls, SD after stopping at Mt. Rushmore on Thursday and the Badlands yesterday..

I used an HDR effect on the Mt. Rushmore image, it turned out really cool!

I 1st visited the Badlands when I was 12 years old and took my son Chad when he was 12, which was 28 years ago.. Sue and I had a very enjoyable time there yesterday..

I just started reading about Paul and Sue's Excellent Adventure. I was amused by Rick thinking they could be Shanghi'd by the Deadliest Catch captains. I'd loved to be shanghi'd by Sig Hansen. I even went to see Cars 2 because Sig had a speaking part.

I made one of those for a trip Marianne and I took to Lake Superior. You should include a map (or maps) and make sure to proof read everything.

I haven't decided about maps yet..
