I just purchased Cape Lookout #405 this past weekend. The label on the bottom says it's a GLOW yet it cost more than the usual $55. When I brought this up to the saleswoman she told me that it had reached GLOW status but then they received a letter from HL stating that a lot of collector's were upset with this and that it would be continued as a Limited Edition. It is labeled AXXX. Is this true? Do I have an LE or a GLOW?
Also, when I got home I checked on my handy HL Product List and #405 is listed as the Montauk GLOW (which I also own). I'm confused. I bought it because I had just seen Cape Lookout and fell in love with it, not because of it's potential value. But hey...if it's a retired piece, even better.
