OK, if you've been here in the past few days, you've noticed that lots of people now have color pictures just below their name. These are called "Avatars". If you've reached "WACKO" status, you too can create your own Avatar or use a standard one. Read all about it here.

For a while there, I was using the earthrise shot taken from the Apollo since you were asking if I was from some other planet, John. Since then I decided to do my own thing....  BTW - the Avatar that I'm now using is an 4 minute exposure night shot of the Sturgeon Bay North Pierhead lighthouse taken last summer.
