I am looking at getting a number of the HL lighted lighthouses. My question is do they all blink the same?
Here is why I ask. I plan on making a glassed display shelf to display these. The shelf will have electric in it so I can light up the lighthouses.
My hope is to have an alternating light so they aren't all on and off at the same time. Since I only have one lighted lighthouse I can't test this to see.

Brian,
Lighthouses that have a steady, non-flashing light in real life, will have an HL piece with the same feature, a steady light.
After watching all of the "flashing light" pieces just now, each flashing mechanism is slightly different, seemingly irregardless of that particular lighthouse. Our Bass Harbor flashes quicker than the others, but someone else's Bass Harbor could be slower.
Your on/off sequences (relative to each other) will be constantly changing over time, as you leave them on.

Thanks Jim that is exactly what I wanted to hear. I was hoping that I wouldn't have 5 or 6 all on at the same time and then off at the same time. This is good news.

Sounds like you are planning a pretty cool display. I rarely plug in my lighted models but, when I do, visitors to my house think they are pretty special. Since I buy all the Christmas lighthouses, the few lighted models I have are Christmas lighthouses.

Thanks - I'll take pictures and post it when I'm done. It all started from a curio cabinet that is getting too small. I'm sure we all face that problem!
Basically I am making a shelf but it will be enclosed with a mirror back and glass front. The floor that lighthouses sits on will be fake and below that will be where the lighthouses plug in to.
The tablesaw I need is on back order for a few weeks so hopefully I can start construction by the end of January.
