Does anyone know when we will be told about the cruises that may be available before or after the reunion? I wanted to start looking at hotels and airfare but need to know if and when we would be up in the Keeweenaw pennisula.

The following is a quote from Suzanne of a October post of another thread... I am sorry I didn't answer this before. It would be difficult to do the trip after the reunion. We need to schedule it on weekdays, not over a weekend. The Labor Day Holiday weekend would raise the costs. If there wasn't a reunion, the trip would be the first week in August because that is when the weather on Lake Superior is usually the calmest. Because of the reunion, the trip is now tentatively scheduled for August 24, 25, 26, 2005.
We will see: 14 Mile Point, Ontonagon, Ontonagon pier light, Michigan Island Old, Michigan Island New, Outer Island, Raspberry Island, Sand Island, Devils Island, Minnesota Point, Duluth South Breakwater Inner, Duluth South Breakwater Outer, Duluth North Breakwater, Two Harbors, Two Harbors Breakwater, Split Rock, and Keweenaw Upper Entry.
We also plan to spend time on land in Duluth and at Split Rock.

Boy, I missed it too. BUT, what are the particulars: cost, specific times, how to sign up. Or is it possible that these have not yet been finalized?

Rick,
I don't believe that anything has been finalized. But Suzanne did an outstanding job in organizing the last boat tour in Michigan's UP. It was wonderfully exciting, I met a lot of interesting lighthousers, and we accomplished and saw so much that it left me totally exhausted -- both mentally and physically. But I would do it all over again.
