For those of you who will be wearing out your fingers dialing on October 7, please let us know how you did.

How many times did you need to redial? What time did you get through? etc.

We'll only use this thread to report on dial results, please continue to post other items related to the reunion in the other threads.

Started calling the Harbour Lights Reunion hot line right at 0900 hrs. EST and, after countless redial attempts, I finally got through at 0919 hrs. I registered Carol & I and preordered four (4) Reunion Exclusive pieces at $85 per .... was informed that the Reunion Exclusive sculpture would be of the Waugoshance Light .

Well Folks,

I finally got through at 9:27am Eastern Daylight Time. Talked to Kathy and of course ordered my Waugoshance Light.

The time is a little misleading. I actually got through the first time at 9:09 EDT. But with my usual adaptability at handling a situation under extreme pressure and on a moments notice, I accidentally disconnected the dang phone! NOT TOO COOL.

And Kathy wouldn't even let me use her credit card number. Oh well.....

The very best of luck to everyone trying to make the connection. SEE Y'ALL AT THE 2005 REUNION.

Bob

Called and got thru on my first attempt at a little after 8:00am Pacific Time. Amazingly, I wasn't planning on attending until I saw that Waugoshance was the light of choice. Then I started to think about it...and that was it.

It's about 10:20 AM PT and I just talked to HL who says the calling has slowed way down. You'll have no problems if you dial in now. I don't have a total count.

John,

If I remember correctly, the call-in for the Baltimore Reunion worked approximately the same. The load lightened considerably during the fourth and fifth hour but then gained momentum during the sixth.

I tried to call in for 15 minutes, only to lower my number as I pre-registered. after 15 minutes I stopped as all the really low numbers would have been reserved by then anyway.

I tried to jump the gun just a little and made my first call at 7:57 CT, (knowing my cell phone and the delay it sometimes takes for the call to actually go through, I knew I would be close) but the line was already busy.

Kept redialing, and on my 6th attempt at 8:07, got through. Talked with ... I think she said her name was Rachel. When I asked what # caller I was she said she didn't know, but that I was her second caller. Ordered 3 pieces.

I'm sure glad we pre-registered. smile Tom was out of town (Austin) and on client calls. Pretty hard to call when you are with a customer. I was at work and being a loyal government employee could not use government phones or time to call in. Also it's the beginning of the fiscal year so we are swamped with work. Taking a day off is definitely not an option. Congratulations to all those who did call in and register.

I'm also glad to have pre-registered. An emergency came up and I didn't have the opportunity to call in. I just need to call in and order the reunion exclusive pieces.

I started about 5 minutes to six and must have used the redial hundreds of times. I became a little frustrated and got out the cell phone...I got through the first time with that. It was about 6:20. I haven't kept up on the forums lately and am very confused about how this process is working for this reunion. I preregistered with my club, but something just doesn't seem right to me. The person I talked to assured me that everything was fine but she had no information regarding the preregistration. I can only say...we'll see...On another note, though I'd like to see another west coast reunion, I think this is a great place for the 2005 reunion. I'm also a "Somewhere in Time" fan which was filmed at the Grand Hotel, so I'm getting the best of both worlds. I just wish in the future, reunions stay on the weekends. My kids will be in their second week of school at this time, but I'll figure that out later. Look forward to seeing everybody, I don't post much anymore, but I try to keep up on the forums when I can.
