It is my great pleasure to announce the selection of two Collector Forums members to join the existing Saints. We have not had new saints for some time. The existing active Saints are John, Paul, Sean, Mombo, Bob M and myself. Rod and Tim still drop by from time to time as their schedules permit. We also have two deceased Saints, Fred Kuhlman and Bill O’Brien (oseabee). This selection is a consensus decision of the Saints.

Selection to Saint is based upon contributions to the Collector Forums, not on how many Harbour Lights are in a collection or how many lighthouses have been visited. Our newest Saints have both contributed to the Collector Forums over a number of years. Please join all of us in extending congratulations to our newest Saints:

Bob Scroope: Bob is a long time member, and contributes to many of the discussions taking place. Bob has been a Cruise Director for some time and has been very active behind the scenes in helping to keep the CF on course and active.

Rich Felter: Rich serves as a Cruise Director but has also been helping review membership registrations from the time we began reviewing. Rich will now be able to take a more direct role in helping to keep the CF a quality place for all to enjoy.

Please join all of us in congratulating Saint LI Bob and Saint Rich. Once they have completed the customary initiation process they will be able to enjoy their new powers.

Your help and guidance for the Collector Forums over the years only adds a shine to that new halo!

I don't know what to say except this is a total surprise and a real honor. I'm speechless and that doesn't happen very often to a retired Chief Warrant Officer and current Production Operations Supervisor. However, the chances of Krispy Kremes making it out my door is about as slim as me being elected President. The wine might have a chance. How about Ripple?

Bob - I was originally going to ask for "PIPPLE" (pink chanpagne and Ripple) from the old Sanford and Sons TV show but we got so many young folks that they wouldn't know what I was talking about.

I do remember Ripple and Italian bread and going to the beach when I was a young single Navy guy in Florida.

In an incredible bout of irony, I'm sitting here watching Hairspray (which is actually better than I'd predicted), and as I opened this reply box, a line came on in a song about Ripple. Seriously.

So...I guess I raise my Netflix DVD to two guys who truly deserve Sainthood here on the CF. Bob and Rich are definitely some of our most vocal and quality members, and are a great addition to the...CF canon?
