I got this picture from my daughter. At the Lego place in Chicago, they have the entire lakefront in Legos.

Edited to use photo improved by Paul. Thanks Paul.

This is an awesome place to take the kids/grand kids. I did last year, and have some photos on my Face Book. The Lake front display rotates it's lighting, sun up to sun down....very neat effect.

My grandson's ambition in life is to be a Lego designer. He will sit for hours and draw things to be made from Legos, not to mention the time spent with the actual Legos. This was a special trip for him. Loon, maybe they used real pebbles. I had asked my daughter to send me pictures if she went to see Chicago Harbor or Grosse Point while they were there. I had to look a second time to see that it wasn't the real lighthouse.

I also had to take a second look. It's outstanding!!!

I still want to be a Lego designer. My first sets only included the basic square and rectangle blocks. You had to be very created to create windows and doorways back then.

The kids(there in there 20's now) still buy me Legos. Just need to find the time.
