These are the titles of two recent images... Both of these and a lot of other slides were shot a week ago Thursday at St Joe when I went out to shoot a sunset with the sun going down between the towers. The sunset that night wasn't as spectacular as the one last Saturday that produced the image that I titled, "Firey Climax" but the waves were great for photography. I had strong backlighting of the waves that lit up their crests and when there was spray in the air, it looked like someone had tossed shards of broken glass into the air, gleaming and sparkling. Hope you enjoy these. There are a few more on my website at the following link: http://www.coastalbeacons.com/greatlakesgallery/michigan/StJGallery4.htm Gary

Magical photos, Gary. That second one looks like a Japanese painting.

Gary I have to agree with Seagirt. Your photos always amaze me, but these are definitely my favorites to date. If I ever take one that's even half as nice as photo #2 my short career as a lighthouse photographer will be complete.

You know I love 'em. Totally etherial and difficult to capture!
Marblehead, Mass. Lighthouse, you will always have a very special place in our hearts. ....We've made the journey as far south as New Jersey, as far north as Canada. Over 100 lighthouses visited.... and so many more to go.

Gary Martin, it is beyond me how you always manage to do it! The photos are magnificent as always. The second photo is my favorite of the two. The wave on the right just makes the image for me. Beautiful work!
