Yesterday, Christina took me to the Lazy 5 Ranch about 20 minutes from where she lives. After hearing a description of what it was and what you can do there, I was still suprised as to what we found when we got there. As not to bore you with the details of the trip, I am excited that I got this one through the sun roof of the civic... and this one looking out the window on my site of the car. And I know you are wondering did I get to pet the zebra? Yes, Yes I did!!! Here is the official web site http://www.lazyfiveranch.com/ If you want to see more photos and here more about the place, let me know.

Here is one more of the zebra I forgot I had. This is the only other digital of the giraffe that I have. I know I took a couple on film, so I will see how they come out. Hope you like 'em. They have a number of other animals too. A real mix of stuff that comes up to the window of you car or the wagon if you take that that you can feed. Christina can tell you about the zebra and the emu, and how she got animal snot on her window.

Gee, Stephen, I was hoping you might have a close-up of the zebra.... Really like the first one of the giraffe. Feel free to post some more - thanks for sharing these.

Here is one more of the zebra. Of course all of the zebra photos were taken in color and converted to black and white. Here are two bulls, not sure what kind. Remember, we were in her little civic with these huge animal loose around us. I was a bit nervous when the one above started pawing the ground. All I could think about was "when animals attack." And a black-tailed parrie dog who was snacking on a peanut butter cracker that someone threw in.

I like the black & white, and of course it's perfect for zebras. Not so sure I would have been able to hold the camera steady with all those big animals so close.
I'm enjoying these, Stephen. Thanks for sharing them.

Great black and white photos...I'll bet the colored version are awesome! I know they are rodents and a nuisance, but I love watching prairie dogs!! Huge bulls...I guess they would be kind of intimidating to someone in a Honda Civic!!!! Thanks for more great shots.
