This is a pretty cool event they put on every year, it includes a tour of the lighthouse, as well as a Spirit walk around the park. There is games for kids and food as well. It's been called the most haunted lighthouse in America, so what better place to have an event this close to Halloween http://www.spiritsofpointlookout.com/Default.aspx?tabid=291

Sounds interesting. If I remember correctly, Point Lookout is supposed to be a haunted light? Wasn't this area the location of a fairly wicked prison camp from the civil war?

Yes you are correct:) There's been lots of ghostly activity reported by park rangers that up until then didn't even believe in ghosts. Almost 4,000 Confederate prisoners died there, there's a nice memorial at the entrance of the park where the state moved many bodies due to shoreline erosion, but all of the graves couldn't be located. I've been there in January when I was the only one in the entire park, it was cloudy and foggy, and it made me feel really uneasy, and this is when I first moved up here and knew the history of the place!
