In celebration of our 10th Anniversary, OBLHS Announces Our Third Annual Raffle: The Outer Banks Lighthouse Society 2005 Raffle Win a Week’s Stay on the Outer Banks of North Carolina! Tickets are $2.00 each to benefit OBLHS Each ticket entitles you to a chance to win one of three weeks: FRISCO - Ocean & Sound View Beach House 3 Bedrooms – 2 1/2 Baths One Week Stay; Choose from Available Weeks, Before Memorial Day & After Labor Day, 2006 Donated by Friends of OBLHS BUCCANEER VILLAGE– Penthouse Condo Overlooking Roanoke Sound 3 Bedrooms – 2 Full baths One week stay; Choose from Available Weeks, Before Memorial Day & After Labor Day, 2006 Donated by Pirate’s Cove Realty AVON- Ocean View Beach House 3 Bedrooms – 2 Full Baths One week stay; Choose from Available Weeks, Before Memorial Day & After Labor Day, 2006 Donated by friends of OBLHS Drawing will be held on October 22rd at the Annual Membership Dinner at Comfort Inn South, Nags Head. You do not need to be present to win. The raffle tickets have finally arrived, and are going out in the mail in the next two days to all OBLHS members and others who have already ordered.
Each member is receiving 20 tickets. Anyone, member or not who would like more tickets, please email me, and I'll send them out right away.
The deadline to return the signed stubs is Oct. 15th, and the drawing will take place Oct. 22. Remember, you don't need to be present to win...but we'd still love to see you there. Details of the Keeper's Weekend and registration can be found on our website listed below.
I want to thank you for the tremendous responce we've already had from the members here on the Forums.
Good luck to all of you, and I'm looking forward to seeing many friends and many new faces in October.

Ta-Da! Announcing the 2005 winners of the OBLHS Raffle: - Frisco Beach House - Linda Osborne of Stafford, VA
- Buccaneer Village Penthouse Condo at Pirate's Cove - Patricia Thompson of Bethesda, MD.
- Avon Beach House - Tom Shelton of Celebration, Fla.
The drawing took place at our OBLHS Keeper's Dinner in Nag's Head, October 22. Sorry for the delay in announcing. It took awhile to contact one of the winners. This year's raffle's proceeds came close to $7000, and we are delighted with that outcome. We are grateful to the people who so generously donated their beach houses for a week, and for EVERYONE who participated in the raffle. Congratulations to this year's winners!! Judy
