Yesterday the latest Lighthouse Legacy arrived in my email bin.

Still need to read, but gave it a quick scan. Looks like some great info to read.

I got excited about the Hooper Island piece, but came back down to earth when I realized it was only a LLOM. I wish HL would release a regular sized LE with every one of these LLOM's! There are many many collectors that don't collect LLOM's. :rolleyes:

Anyway.... looking forward to reading the entire Legacy today !!!

Yes, I too am excited about Hooper Island. You are right also, in that I would of prefered a LE, but I will take any Chesapeake Bay light in any form.

For those of you that are members of the Collector's Society and receive the Legacy that HLs(Tony) puts out quarterly, there was a good article on the Collectors Forums. Tony gave good information about the Forums and what we acomplish on the Forums along with how to join. I sure hope this helps to bring in new members and maybe revive some of the older members.

The article was a good start. I say the only thing that will truly help this site is to get the link put back on the Harbour Lights web site. This site has struggled since it was removed in my opinion.

Yes, our forum's link from the HL website should definitely be there! And I have mentioned elsewhere that the HL site really does need some TLC. Years 1997 & 1998 links are broken and numerous technical errors are noticeable.

All new Forum members (and visitors) should be able to access a link from the "Welcome Mat" to read a recent release of the Lighthouse Legacy. I believe this would increase our membership! Also, there should be information about the HL Collectors Guide immediately available, either in a FAQ file for new members/visitors or by link. This would also increase interest. I didn't know of it until I visited the HL website and found the link to a 3-page demo. Once you see that demo you will want to buy the guide. Of course you couldn't order it, but a "google" search led me to various dealer's websites (I believe LHD still has it for $18.88). This book was the best Harbour Light buy that I have made. I own three! Perhaps we should have a link in the Forum to the HL page with the demo!

Can't believe I didn't know about this site before. I'm a charter member of HL Collector's Society and we have been to one Regional Event in Portland Maine three years ago. We have lived in the Phoenix, AZ area for 6 yrs,down from Seattle, WA.area for most of my life.

I am so happy I found this site. I thought I was crazy last year when I kept looking for the Regional HL Event and I would be told, next week, next week, at least in two weeks, etc. I talked with both Tony, to whom I offered to help do whatever was necessary to make this happen, and I also talked with Dave H. who said he would help be willing to help.Then there was the HL Regional Event piece released, which I bought, which really made me feel crazy because I thought if they make a piece surely that means there will be an Event.
