Well, the last one without an envelope ( #7) is scheduled to be over April 1st, so its about time to start up another signup list for #9 mailed without an envelope. The first 25 people to sign up are on the list for #9 starting April 1st thru July 31. Post your signup here to this thread and email me your name, address, and screenname for the label list.

I'm #1 on the list so next is #two, and so on!!

George,

You might want to review your original parameters for this exchange. You established a date of April 1 for all cards to be mailed, not the end of April.

Don't forget to email your name/address/screenname to me, just because you've been a prior participant. As of now there are 16 logged in and only two emails. Obviously not a problem , just don't forget.

Our postcard exchange #9 shifted into neutral for a couple of days. We're still in need of a few more participants.

I was hoping that this post, which will bring this topic back to the top, will encourage the last five people to sign up.

Remember, you are automatically eligible to enter my next contest in you are a participant of PC Exchange #9.

PE #9 without envelope is officially full based upon the 25 signups on this thread. Still need the name/address/screename for 5 of the 25 people who signed up.

Becki, we started out as a one time thing that has blossomed into a multiple/year event. People signup on the thread (limited to 25 per exchange) to send each other lighthouse postcards during a specified time frame, usually 3-4 months. As one of the coordinators, I gather the names/addresses and provide a mailing list to all the persons who have signed up on the specified exchange. Usually there are at least two of these post card exchanges (PE) going at once, mailed without an envelope and mailed with (inside). This one just closed (filled), but keep your eyes open as others will soon open, or you may elect to start one yourself.

I received early bird Bob M's postcard of Block Island's Southeast Light.

A great light to start off this exchange. I'm very excited about my trip this summer to Block Island now. I now have this postcard, Bob's photo from exchange #8, my Wacko badge and a Wacko pin on order. I cannot wait to see the light in person.

Thanks Bob!

Hi Shirin,

I don't think Bob is early for Exc.#9, he is right on time for #7 which runs thru the end of March. I received same card today but I'm sure it was for #7 as he was one of the last few in the #7 exchange that hadn't sent his.

Hi Donna,

Perhaps Bob sent the same card for 7 and 9. I'm not in exchange 7. Plus, it has a number on the card for his contest.

Dear Bob M.
Just received your postcard of South East Block Island Light. Thanks. I visited the light about 8 years ago, before I ever thought about collecting lighthouses.
I am in PE #9.

Received Bob's card today also, thanks! If it has a number on it it's for #9 right? Think Bob's got the cart in front of the horse.

I got my S.E.B.I. card from Bob today as well. Looks like I have a license to kill as my number was 007.

FWIW, I wasn't in exchange #7, so if you card is numbered, it is most likely a #9 exchange card.

Great card of the SEBI move. Thanks Bob!

COULD I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION, PLEASE!

Apparently, I haven't sent my PC Exchange #7 cards out yet. They will go out next week.

I have sent my PC Exchange #9 cards out already. They have the three-digit number in the lower left hand corner of the card. There were all the same and have a picture of Southeast Light, Block Island on it. PC#9 has a contest running. The three-digit number is your ID# if you choose to participate.

I apologize for the confusion. I know PC#7 isn't due until the end of April, and I did forget all about it when I sent the cards for PC#8 and PC#9.

It may be an early case of C.R.S., or perhaps it's because Lorna and I are having an exceptionally busy late winter/early spring.

I working six days a week, she's working six days, soon to be seven days a week until tax season is over. Our youngest (26 yoa) is getting married in May plus I have to get working on "It's Only Money" to get her ready for launching. Seems like there aren't enough hours in the day! LOL!
