Lorie,

Do you and John live up on top of one of the Wasatches where it takes the USPS three weeks to scale the mountain? Might have to float your mail up to you on a SkyBound!!?? :p wink

Are you sure it was the LS Portmouth and not the LS Chesapeake?? confused

Dan

Received LI Bob's card today. What a surprise which light he chose . . . . . (anyone who knows Bob knows which light I refer to).

Your card made it to Utah Suzanne. I hope Dan is correct in that we will get to see this light at next years reunion. It has always been a favorite of mine.

Received a very cool card from the Abbotts today. Definitely one not previously used! I just wish the post office would clean its machinery every once in a while so it didn't leave streaks down the front of the card.

A very nice card Tom & Joyce. Unfortunately, the Post Monster (NOT "Master") chewed up the bottom left lighthouse and text. I particularly like the red and green roofs on the lanter rooms of the third image down on the right.

Sorry Dave, how bad are the streaks?

Lorie, we cheated. Tom's sister had been living in Germany. She picked up the cards for us.

Ron, as you received the most severely damaged card, we will send another one. This time it will be in an envelope. We have an extra one. I hope yours is the only one chewed up. Tom's sister is no longer in Europe, so we've lost our source.

Usually I mail the cards at the downtown Dallas post office. This time I mailed them at the local Desoto post office. frown Guess I'll pay them a visit tomorrow.

Thanks to you both! smile

I hope I'm not the last to send out my cards. I was hoping to find unique cards in Italy of the lighthouse on the Island of Murano but there were none available. I guess Italy isn't as crazy about their lighthouses as we are.
Most of the cards I sent out were all the same. Enjoy!

Just got home from a wonderful Cruise to the Bahamas, and found my mailbox full. Many great lighthouse cards, 4 for PCE 22 and 4 for PCE 23 and even one from John Gaskill with a letter inviting me to come over to Gulfport for a visit, and 2 cards from Greg (seagirt) from his trip to Mass.

All the cards are new to my collection. Thanks!

Dave, I checked and found that I've received two other cards of this lighthouse but not the one Derith sent. Funny when you look back. Some of the cards don't look familiar at all. Kind of like seeing them again for the first time, neat!

Who has not yet mailed thier cards?

I thought that I had been doing a good job of marking the names off my list as the cards came in. But maybe I haven't done so good after all. confused I am still showing 7 names in PCE 23 that I don't have cards from. Did I miss marking someones name off the list, or are there realy 7 cards yet to come???

I seem to have gotten confused with so many of us in both PCE 23 and 22 at the same time. I look at the names I show left on my two lists and I know that I got a card from that person. But did I get only one card from them or two?

Stephanie,
Checked our list for both exchanges, 22 and 23.

We are missing 6 in PCE 23 and 4 in PCE 22.

Hope this helps.

Received Doc John's card today - 6 days after it was mailed and 3 days after I received the envelope from him mailed at the same time. Just gotta love the USPS, and now they want to be rewarded for their non-performance by getting another major postage increase.

The redeeming factor in this is, of course, John's great card. Love that view.
